Bring your littles for our hands-on class that will teach them the basics of vegetable gardening – each child will receive six packages of heirloom seeds, starter soil, wooden plant ID stakes, growing assistance, growing journal, pencil and 100% recycled fiber egg carton planter. Your little one will enjoy planting and growing their own green beans, yellow summer squash, sweet baby carrots, crunchy red radishes, baby watermelon and little leaf cucumbers – perfect for snacking and encouraging healthy habits! Your little one will leave with an egg carton of seedlings and the knowledge to care for the vegetables as they grow.
There are two dates available for the Little Fresh Veggie Garden for Kids:
Sunday, April 18th: 11am-12pm
Saturday, May 1st: 1-2pm
*An adult is required with each child for this class - only those with a ticket may attend the class, but only one ticket is required per child/adult. This class is appropriate for children ages 3-7. Everyone 2 years of age and older are required to wear a mask per CDC guidelines.
